Please follow these directions, step-by-step to get into the house and you should not have a problem.
When arriving at 224 Faulkner Rd, When you get close you will see on Old Rte 33 a campground to your LEFT and a bridge in front of you you will turn RIGHT onto Faulkner Road BEFORE the bridge. After turning RIGHT there is a gravel driveway continue past this driveway then you will see a brown building to your RIGHT and another in front of you. Continue past both of these buildings and you will come up to another gravel driveway on the RIGHT side with wooden fences on both sides of it. Turn up this driveway and continue up this driveway until you reach the home.
Simply park your vehicle near the bottom of the steps and head up to the front door and we have an electronic Schlage lock installed on the door so you do not need to worry about keys during your stay. To gain entry to the house, enter the door code we sent you and the door will open!
PLEASE NOTE:
-The electronic lock locks automatically after 4 minutes.
-Please ensure music is played at a reasonable level as we have neighbors we have to respect. Our quiet time is between 10 PM and 8 AM.
The door lock is a Schlage Encode deadbolt. It is a wifi lock, you will not be using any lockboxes or keys at any point during your stay. If you see a lockbox, please ignore that, and use the keypad on the front door.
To unlock the door, press the home button on the bottom left of the screen, this will light up the keypad for you to see better. Then type the code we provided you, and the door will automatically unlock. If you get a red X when typing the code, it is common that a wrong number was accidentally pressed. Try it again and it will likely work. If it still doesn’t, please shoot us a message so we can quickly check the lock and see what the error is.
Check Out Procedure:
1) Leave used towels on the floors, and leave used beds unmade.
2) Place TV remote back on the TV stand in the living room log out of any streaming services that are yours.
3) Do a final walkthrough to check for personal belongings.
4) Close any windows, if opened, turn off lights, lock the back patio door, and lock the front door and leave the keys in the lockbox where you found them.
5) Being that this is a pet friendly home, be sure to pick up any remains in the yard so that future guests do not have to deal with these. Failure to do this will be a fee of $80 to have us do it for you. This is not included in your reservation as we do not charge extra for you to bring your pets.
Being mindful of our house rules is appreciated and expected. We hope you love our space and will help us take care of it.

There is free parking available right in front of the cabin. You shouldn’t have any issues finding a spot to park!
Our suite a queen size bed a full size bed and a twin size for you to sleep in. There is also a pull out chair in the loft that someone can use if they wish.

Please let us know if propane gets low in this at any point so we can work on getting a replacement.
Feel free to use the hot tub as much as you please while you are here. We have hot tub maintenance come by weekly to make sure the PH levels are staying where they need, but if you feel at any point like it may not be right, shoot us a message and we will see if we can get them out sooner to take a look.
The jets for the hot tub are increased by a red button on the deck that is labelled.
There is a switch on one of the posts heading up the stairs that can be flipped in order to turn on the lights.
We have both Keurig style and traditional drip coffee maker in the property. We do provide some generic flavors along with standard cream sugar and filters. If you want or like anything specific, we recommend picking some up beforehand.
This property is equipped with smart TV for you to use. Simply press one of the apps on the tv and login for streaming movies and TV shows.
If you decided to bring a pet with you, we do ask that you try to keep them off furniture if they shed much, and to also be careful with how much mud they track into the home. We appreciate this very much!
Since we are not a full hotel, just a small lodge, we unfortunately do not have the capacity to offer complimentary mid-stay housekeeping. However, you do have the option to purchase mid-stay cleans from our housekeeping crew. Reach out to us directly if you want someone to come in and clean the room and wash linens and towels for you at any point!
We do not have a washing machine/dryer available for guests. For stays longer than 4 nights feel free to request replacement towels/linens and we will do our best to accommodate!
There is also Mary’s Maytag laundromat in town at 159 Country Club Rd, Elkins, WV 26241 if you are needing to wash anything!

Mail/Packages While we understand the convenience of having deliveries, we would like to advise that it is not our recommended practice due to the variable nature of delivery services. We cannot guarantee the safe and timely delivery of packages, as we are unable to monitor the property at all times. For a more secure option, we recommend utilizing the local post office for any deliveries using their general delivery option. They are equipped to receive and store packages until your convenient pickup. Please ensure you provide clear instructions to the delivery personnel if you choose this option. Additionally, please be aware that packages or mail delivered outside your reservation dates likely will not end up reaching you. Items Left Behind In the event that you leave personal items behind at the property, we are happy to assist in their retrieval and shipment to you. However, please be advised that there will be a shipping cost and our time involved that will need to be paid before we can ship the items. We understand that accidents happen, and we are here to help make the process as smooth as possible. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
