We are happy to welcome you to our home! Elkins is a great place to live or visit, and we are delighted to share it with you. Whether you are spending time with friends or family, or working away from home, we hope your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

This page is your full guestbook that includes check-in info, amenities, recommendations in the area and much more! Make sure to reference this if you have any questions, as this likely answers them for you.

We strive to offer a 5-star experience to our guests. If anything is not up to your standards, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address and fix the issues.

Please follow these directions, step-by-step to get into the house and you should not have a problem.

  • Check-In any time after 4 pm

When arriving at 90 Faulkner Rd, you will find the lodge in the listing photos.

Simply park your vehicle on the other side of the road, and make sure to leave room for others as much as possible. We have electronic Schlage locks installed on each door so you do not need to worry about keys during your stay – bonus! To gain entry to the room 201, enter the door code we sent you and the door will open!

PLEASE NOTE:

-The electronic lock locks automatically after 4 minutes.

-Please ensure music is played at a reasonable level as we have neighbors we have to respect. Our quiet time is between 10 PM and 8 AM.

HOUSE RULES

Being mindful of our house rules is appreciated and expected.  We hope you love our space and will help us take care of it. 

  1. No House Parties
  2. This is a pet free room. If you were planning to bring a pet, please reach out to us and we will see if we have a pet friendly room available.
  3. Strict no smoking or vaping indoors policy.  You may smoke/vape outside.  Smoke remediation fees start at $1000
  4. Please clean up excessive messes, we’ll take care of the rest

PARKING:
There is free street parking available right on the other side of the road. You shouldn’t have any issues finding a spot to park!

OUTDOOR GRILL:
The grilling area is located just outside the east side of the lodge. We have grill utensils in the cabinet for you to use, and we ask that you please do your best to scrape the grill off when you are done using it.

Other guests are able to use this as well, so keep that in mind, and be aware that we are not able to clean it after every use. We will do our best to check it and clean it as often as we can though!

SLEEPING:
Our suite 2 queen size beds for you to sleep in.

You are in room 201.

TRASH DISPOSAL:
We have a dumpster just on the other side of the road by the parking lot you are welcome to use during your stay.

WASHING MACHINE & DRYER:
We do not have a washing machine/dryer available for guests. For stays longer than 4 nights feel free to request replacement towels/linens and we will do our best to accommodate!

There is also Mary’s Maytag laundromat in town at 159 Country Club Rd, Elkins, WV 26241 if you are needing to wash clothes!

HOUSEKEEPING:
Since we are not a full hotel, just a small lodge, we unfortunately do not have the capacity to offer complimentary mid-stay housekeeping. However, you do have the option to purchase mid-stay cleans from our housekeeping crew. Reach out to us directly if you want someone to come in and clean the room and wash linens and towels for you at any point!

MAIL/PACKAGES:
While we understand the convenience of having deliveries, we would like to advise that it is not our recommended practice due to the variable nature of delivery services. We cannot guarantee the safe and timely delivery of packages, as we are unable to monitor the property at all times.
 
For a more secure option, we recommend utilizing the local post office for any deliveries using their general delivery option. They are equipped to receive and store packages until your convenient pickup. Please ensure you provide clear instructions to the delivery personnel if you choose this option.
 
Additionally, please be aware that packages or mail delivered outside your reservation dates likely will not end up reaching you.
 
ITEMS LEFT BEHIND:
In the event that you leave personal items behind at the property, we are happy to assist in their retrieval and shipment to you. However, please be advised that there will be a shipping cost and our time involved that will need to be paid before we can ship the items.
 
We understand that accidents happen, and we are here to help make the process as smooth as possible. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
